Kids Yoga & Wellbeing
I am a trained children's yoga teacher and love to inspire kids to move, breathe, relax and learn coping and calming skills for life through yoga games, play, story, exploration and mindful movement and breathing.

I have worked in schools and with home school groups to deliver wellbeing sessions and regular after school yoga clubs, and delivered children's yoga workshops at forest schools, for Flying Start Powys and for Playworks Powys.




I offer interactive themed sessions and story based classes for schools, homeschool groups, parties, private sessions and online options.
Kids Yoga Classes and Holiday Clubs: fun movement and mindfulness classes exploring yoga through play, story, games and creativity for ages 2-8 years old.

How it works
​
I share fun and educational stories and themese that nurture kids natural curiosity.
​
We act out the story or adventure together using yoga postures and breathing.
The kids are the heroes of the adventures and actively take part in the story.
Their creativity, imagination and input are always encouraged.
We start with grounding and focusing exercises and warm-ups for the body, explore a mindful movement adventure together, then finish with a gentle relaxation before a final game, activity or craft related to the story or theme.
Mindfulness and relaxation techniques are gently woven into the classes.
Classes last from 30 minutes to 1 hour long, depending on the age group and setting.
Themes and stories can be adapted to fit with curriculums, seasons, specific topics, festivities, to support social and emotional learning and personal requests are welcomed for private bookings.
I provide all yoga mats, games and props.
